Marketing Society Research Excellence Awards 2009

The Marketing Society celebrated its 40th year in 2009. To mark the occasion and to recognise excellence in market research, the inaugural Marketing Society Research Excellence Awards were conceived.  The marketing society took a lead in establishing a standard of excellence in Ireland – reflecting effectiveness, quality, methodology, talent and expertise both with brand owners and agencies. The awards ceremony was established to showcase these skills seen in the Irish market.

Alchemy were chosen to work in conjunction with The Marketing Society in the producing of the event.

To close the event, the award-winning Irish comedian Dara O’ Briain took to the stage to entertain the marketeers and researchers with his inventive and always-topical routine.

The Judges of the event were from varying backgrounds in marketing, from academia to senior figures in market research.
